About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Export Administrator to join our team. As an Export Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating the export process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of customs procedures, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Export Coordination: Coordinate the export process, including preparing and submitting customs documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  2. Customs Procedures: Complete customs procedures with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring deadlines are met both internally and externally.
  3. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Documentation: Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation, including invoices and shipping documents.
  5. Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and logistics providers.
  6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: A Level 2 in English & Maths.
  2. Experience: Previous experience working within importing and exporting.
  3. Skills: Ability to work under pressure with a strong eye for detail, proficient in using MS Office programs including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  4. Knowledge: Good working knowledge and understanding of: CDS, CHIEF & Sequoia, terms and endorsements of HAWBs, Home Use / T1's / NCTS, understanding Incoterms and associated freight rate calculations, profiles and rates.
