Position Summary
GB Bank is offering a remarkable opportunity for a seasoned Relationship Manager with expertise in property-backed lending, particularly in bridging and portfolio Buy-to-Let finance. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with generating new business, achieving targets primarily within the specialist property finance sector, and leveraging your existing network of Brokers and Introducers, along with other vital business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new inquiries for specialist property lending to meet established targets and guide them through the credit approval process with the assistance of an Assistant Relationship Manager and the Loan Completions Team.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to attract and retain both new and existing clients, fostering strong and enduring relationships.
- Provide exceptional service to your broker network, ensuring GB Bank remains top-of-mind for their clients' future lending requirements.
- Negotiate and structure loan applications and proposals for submission to the Credit Team, overseeing the process from initial review to credit approval and loan completion.
- Assist the Portfolio team in conducting regular credit reviews, monitoring covenants, and fulfilling post-completion conditions for all existing clients.
- Build and maintain new relationships with key professionals, including clients and brokers, while also engaging with solicitors and valuers as necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a property lending Relationship Manager or Director within a similar organization, consistently achieving lending targets and striving to exceed expectations.
- Strong business development capabilities with extensive market knowledge and presence.
- An established network of Brokers and Introducers to support your success at GB Bank.
- A solid credit track record with comprehensive knowledge of credit and lending processes for businesses from inception to drawdown, ideally with a focus on bridging finance.
- Understanding of risk management, core lending principles, and financial analysis skills.
- Motivated to make an immediate positive impact on the Bank and the communities we serve.
