About the Role

The Collection and Delivery Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the collections and deliveries in an efficient manner, ensuring that we deliver exceptional service to our customers every time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Service Centre and its satellites (if applicable) in the day-to-day collection and delivery network.
  • Oversee the effective management of all service delivery partners and PAYE drivers, ensuring high-quality performance is delivered.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage direct cost budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Proven record of delivering great service to customers and managing ongoing customer relationships.
  • Experience of managing a diverse workforce, including subcontractors, self-employed drivers, and PAYE drivers.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email, Access, PowerPoint) or similar database.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Previous experience in the mail or distribution industry is highly desirable.
