Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Project Controls Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Project Controls Specialist, you'll have a passion for providing project controls services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and maintaining project schedules that support and align with project requirements.
  • Developing project schedules in conjunction with the project manager and project team.
  • Reducing uncertainty, knowing objectives, and improving efficiency.
  • Interacting with and assisting project managers to schedule work and coordinate assignments.
  • Evaluating project schedule progress and performance and identifying developing problem areas.
  • Assisting project managers to maintain timely and effective change management processes and procedures.
  • Assisting the project team to develop status reports to keep management informed on project progress.
  • Conducting analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Professional Project Controls experience, specializing in Planning & Scheduling in one or more sectors across the whole Project lifecycle.
  • A strong knowledge and proficiency with Primavera (P6) and other planning and resourcing software.
  • The ability to coordinate and work with other teams and have multi-disciplinary knowledge.

Essential Qualifications

You'll need:

  • A degree in a relevant technical or management field or suitable equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • To be a member of a relevant professional body, such as the Association for Project Management or the Project Management Institute.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mobilize, inspire, and lead by example.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience.

Additional Requirements

You'll also need to:

  • Hold security clearance or be able to obtain and maintain security clearance, as a sole British National.
  • Be open to a reasonable amount of travel, subject to project and client location, as well as working from home and office.

SOX Control Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for adhering to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
