Air Import Operator Role

WR Logistics is seeking a skilled Air Import Operator to join our busy airfreight team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling shipments from start to finish, with a focus on air imports while assisting with air exports during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle air import shipments from door to door, ensuring seamless delivery to our customers and overseas partners.
  • Prepare and submit customs entries, maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Invoice jobs on time, ensuring timely payment and maintaining a positive cash flow.
  • Load information into CW1, ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping.
  • Closely liaise with the customs compliance manager to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor ETA and advise clients of any changes, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions.
  • Ensure clients have all required documents, including PODs and copy C88, to facilitate smooth operations.
