About the RoleSouthern Water is committed to supporting its staff and maintaining a positive relationship with employees. We are expanding our People Services team and seeking a People Advisor to provide HR advice and support.
As a People Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for employees at all levels, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements, with a focus on ER cases.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a dedicated HR advisory service on employment and employee relations matters
- Manage a high volume of case loads and a wide range of case types
- Travel across the Southern Water region to support cases, requiring a full UK driving licence and own car
- Work towards a Junior Business Partner position in the long run
We are looking for a motivated and focused individual with:
- CIPD qualification
- Extensive knowledge of HR policies and processes
- Ability to work within set parameters and understand governance and compliance policies
- Excellent attention to detail and planning skills
- Ability to build authentic trust-based relationships at all levels of business
