We are seeking a compassionate and friendly individual to join our team as a Befriender 'In Home' Volunteer. As a Befriender, you will play a vital role in providing companionship to someone we support, visiting them in their home and engaging in activities they enjoy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to someone we support
  • Visit individuals in their homes and engage in activities they enjoy, such as chatting, reading, or playing games
  • Develop a positive and supportive relationship with the individual
  • Communicate effectively with the individual and our team
Requirements
  • Be kind, empathetic, and friendly
  • Have a good sense of humour and enjoy chatting
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Be able to deal with confidential information
