About the Role

Livewell Southwest CIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Modern Matron to lead our CAMHS Inpatient Care team at Plym Bridge House and the Acute Care Pathway. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership and management to our CAMHS Tier 4 in-patient unit, Children's Young People's Place of Safety, and the Acute Care Pathway.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide line management and support to unit/ward/team managers as appropriate, working closely with the Directorate Manager.
  2. Work with South West Provider Collaborative Case Managers, Contract leads, and quality leads to ensure the care delivered is in line with the Tier 4 specification and the access and referrals process.
  3. Lead the Acute Care Pathway to ensure it works collaboratively with the referral and admission and discharge process to and from Tier 4 inpatient facilities, striving to provide care in the home to prevent admission wherever possible.
Requirements
  • Educated at Degree/Masters level or equivalent senior level experience.
  • Current NMC registration in a field that would give significant exposure to children and young people who require mental health support.
  • Evidence of recent continuing personal learning / professional development.
