Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced team leader to oversee our Toilet Service Division at our Castleford Depot. As the Foreman, you will be responsible for managing a team of drivers, ensuring efficient work distribution, and providing high-quality service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Supervise and allocate tasks to toilet service drivers to ensure that all products are cleaned and serviced to meet our standards and customer demands.
  • Customer Service: Address customer concerns regarding breakdowns, maintain a daily breakdown log, monitor response times, and report issues to the Depot Manager.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet company goals, considering factors like holidays and sick leave.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Inspect returned units/toilets for damages, including graffiti, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete and process all delivery, collection, and exchange paperwork accurately, and ensure workshop paperwork is submitted to the appropriate department.
  • Vehicle Checks: Oversee daily vehicle checks by drivers and report any defects.
  • Inventory Management: Manage parts requisitions, raise purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery to minimize downtime.
  • Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock reviews, and handle the packaging and dispatch of goods.
  • Quality Control: Test new units/toilets according to manufacturer recommendations before adding them to the fleet, and maintain accurate records.
  • Facility Management: Maintain and secure the Toilet Yard, ensuring designated areas are properly marked and organized, and that all areas are clean and hazard-free.
  • Health and Safety: Enforce company procedures, particularly regarding Health & Safety, and ensure all team members are trained and equipped with the necessary PPE.
