Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Country Manager to lead our sales and marketing efforts in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and implementing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and profitability in the UK market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive sales and business growth.
  • Lead a coordinated approach to sales and marketing activities in the UK, working closely with our marketing and research teams.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Manage and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales and marketing strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and marketing in the animal nutrition industry.
  • Proven track record of sales success and business growth in the UK market.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MSc, PhD, or Veterinary degree in Animal Nutrition.
  • Valid UK driving license and passport.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This is a remote, home office-based position with travel requirements. The work environment consists of a variety of settings, including standard home office, motor vehicles, farms, animal producers, manufacturing facilities, and client/customer facilities.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, with occasional walking and standing.
