Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity is available for a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the Rooms Department at Raffles London at The OWO.

Reporting to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you will be tasked with mentoring and training Room Attendants, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness in both vacant and occupied rooms to provide an exceptional guest experience. Your role will involve maintaining cleanliness in all areas, including bedrooms, corridors, staircases, and service zones, while embodying the values of Raffles during interactions with guests and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct daily operations and allocate tasks for room attendants and house porters on the assigned floor.
  • Lead or participate in morning departmental meetings and training sessions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Facilitate smooth operations within the housekeeping team through effective teamwork.
  • Report maintenance issues and ensure timely repairs.
  • Uphold excellent grooming standards.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of hotel services to address guest requests and work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Utilize Knowcross for seamless communication among team members.
  • Monitor the status of all rooms and promptly address any inquiries from the Front Office team.
  • Maintain a polished appearance in accordance with Raffles London grooming standards.
  • Exhibit flexibility to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high service levels under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to contribute to a 24-hour operational schedule as needed.
  • Recent experience in 5-star hotels or a similar capacity.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented approach.
