We are seeking a Refrigeration Facilities Manager who will assist our Senior Manager and Property Director in all aspects of refrigeration—from conceptual design to technical specifications and implementation. This position is crucial in providing guidance to our Maintenance and Energy teams across a diverse range of retail locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establishing technical standards and specifications for refrigeration engineering.
  • Creating effective governance frameworks to optimize the asset lifecycle—from initial design to final disposal.
  • Minimizing equipment downtime and maximizing operational efficiency through strategic maintenance planning.
  • Providing expert advice on plant and equipment standards to support our Net Zero carbon reduction objectives.
  • Collaborating with remote monitoring agencies and external consultants to develop predictive maintenance capabilities.
  • Engaging with stakeholders from various backgrounds to ensure superior outcomes for our customers and locations.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven expertise in equipment design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Experience in collaborating with external partners and industry specialists.
  • A degree or recognized qualifications in engineering.
  • Strong financial skills with experience in Capex and Opex management.
  • Excellent negotiation abilities and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Data-driven, with a talent for leveraging insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • A resilient team player with effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to travel as required (a valid driving license is necessary).
