About the Role

Morrisons is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Property Manager to enhance our Engineering and Construction Team. This pivotal position involves supporting the Senior Manager and Property Director in various refrigeration aspects, from conceptual design to implementation and installation. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding our Maintenance and Energy teams across numerous locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and uphold technical standards and specifications for refrigeration engineering.
  • Implement effective governance strategies to optimize the asset lifecycle, covering all stages from design to decommissioning.
  • Minimize equipment downtime while maximizing operational efficiency through strategic maintenance planning.
  • Provide guidance on plant and equipment standards to assist in achieving our Net Zero carbon reduction objectives.
  • Collaborate with remote monitoring services and external consultants to develop predictive maintenance capabilities.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders to ensure superior outcomes for our customers and facilities.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven expertise in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of refrigeration systems.
  • Experience in collaborating with external partners and industry specialists.
  • A degree or recognized qualifications in engineering is preferred.
  • Strong financial management skills, particularly in Capex and Opex.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Data-driven mindset, capable of leveraging insights for strategic decision-making.
  • A resilient team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to travel as required, with a valid driving license.
