Job Title: Stage Manager

LaplandUK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stage Manager to join our team. As a Stage Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our immersive theatre experience, working closely with the production team to deliver a world-class show.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the technical aspects of the show, including sound, lighting, and set changes.
  • Supervise the backstage team, ensuring that all cast and crew members are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure that all technical aspects of the show are in place and functioning correctly.
  • Manage the props and set dressing, ensuring that all items are in good condition and are used correctly.
  • Work closely with the sound and lighting teams to ensure that all technical aspects of the show are in place and functioning correctly.
  • Attend rehearsals and performances, ensuring that all technical aspects of the show are in place and functioning correctly.
  • Manage the show's technical documentation, including the prompt book and technical notes.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Stage Manager in a traditional or immersive theatre environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge, including sound, lighting, and set changes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols.
