About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Product Owner to join our team at Adria Solutions. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for managing our development backlog and delivering outstanding features and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Agile Development: Provide clear direction and purpose to enable agile development, ensuring that the team is aligned with the company's product vision.
  • Backlog Management: Maintain a prioritized backlog, liaising with the development team and stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure that the team is working on the most valuable features.
  • Sprint Readiness: Ensure that the team meets the 'Definition of Ready' for Agile Sprints, ensuring that all necessary requirements are in place before starting a sprint.
  • Requirement Management: Ensure that functionality is thoroughly analyzed and documented for smooth implementation, working closely with the development team to ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Software Delivery: Collaborate with the development team throughout the software delivery lifecycle, ensuring that all deliverables meet the company's quality standards.
  • Solution Identification: Identify solutions with the Product Management team, including cost and time estimates, to ensure that the company is making informed decisions about product development.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Capture and review all tactical requirements with internal stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are informed throughout the product development process.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Become an expert on the applications and products you own, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of two years as a product owner or business analyst with a strong understanding of product management best practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Communication: Great communicator, negotiator, and facilitator, adaptable to different audiences and able to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Simplification: Understand and simplify requirements for the development team, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of what is required.
  • Flexibility: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Teamwork: Enthusiastic about working in a team and delivering excellent software, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Technical Background: Technical degree or equivalent industry experience, with a strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
  • Agile Experience: Experience with Agile/Scrum software development processes, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • Platform Familiarity: Ideally familiar with Microsoft Azure DevOps, with experience working with cloud-based platforms and tools.
Beneficial (Not Essential):
  • Certified Scrum Alliance PO or similar certification: A certification in Scrum or Agile product management would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Experience in the security industry or with 'command and control' platforms: Experience working in the security industry or with command and control platforms would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Experience delivering Cloud-based solutions: Experience delivering cloud-based solutions would be beneficial, but not essential.
