JOB TITLE: Senior Analyst, Business Change, Group Corporate Treasury

LOCATION(S): Leeds Wellington Place

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, with 40% of the time (or two days) spent in our Leeds Wellington Place office

Salary: £45,954 - £51,060

The Business Change and Securitisation Management team operates within Group Corporate Treasury, comprising approximately 100 professionals across various locations. This team is responsible for financial risk analysis, securitisation, data governance, control measures, process enhancements, and delivering insights to both internal and external stakeholders.

In this data-centric role, you will oversee and enhance data repositories that support Treasury operations. Your enthusiasm, commitment, and genuine interest in Treasury functions are essential. You will implement innovative tools, optimize workflows, and introduce effective applications to ensure the business remains aligned with technological advancements.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Offering ongoing support for data processing through various databases within the team, with a focus on reporting, development, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. Conducting daily and monthly assessments of data construction, addressing and resolving any issues that arise. Collaborating with business units and reporting teams regarding data migrations and the integration of new data sources. Organizing the planning and execution of testing for new data feeds, modifications to data job streams, and change requests. Fostering collaborative relationships with Risk, IT, and Finance partners to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely risk data and reporting. Establishing robust processes to support team objectives, including reporting, controls, and management information.

What You Will Need

You will be a driven individual with a strong analytical mindset who consistently delivers results, even in challenging situations. Your attention to detail will be crucial, as you will need to connect the dots and utilize your technical skills to identify discrepancies in the data.

Proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL Server for query writing and data analysis are essential.

You will have valuable experience collaborating with team members and engaging with key stakeholders across the organization.

Additional Skills That Would Be Beneficial

Experience in querying and analyzing large datasets, with the ability to solve problems and communicate complex findings in a clear manner.

Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Python, or other programming languages would be advantageous.

While experience in treasury reporting is preferred, it is not mandatory as training will be provided.
