Web Developer Job Description

Hays Travel is seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our innovative Technology Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital experiences of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Create high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces for Hays Travel's websites and digital platforms.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your deep knowledge of.NET and Umbraco to build robust and scalable web applications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Thoroughly test code to ensure a high-quality user experience.
  • Security: Adhere to best practices for information security to protect sensitive customer data.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a developer using.NET and Umbraco.
  • Core Skills: In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • .NET & Umbraco Mastery: Demonstrated proficiency in developing web applications using.NET and Umbraco CMS.
  • CI/CD Expertise: Experience in setting up and managing deployment pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Front-End Frameworks: Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and libraries.
  • API Integration: Experience in integrating with RESTful APIs.
