About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Youth Program Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing and implementing programs designed to support young people at risk of custody. Your focus will be on promoting personal responsibility, understanding consequences, and guiding them away from harmful behaviors.

You will create a trauma-informed environment that fosters positive outcomes, including education, training, and employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with external agencies and emergency services to ensure the safety and well-being of young people.
  • Provide support to young individuals in fulfilling court orders and reducing their involvement in criminal activity.
  • Cultivate a trauma-informed environment within our programs, prioritizing the emotional and psychological needs of the young people we serve.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Social Work, Probation, or Youth Work.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with at-risk youth.
  • A deep understanding of the challenges faced by young individuals.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
