Job Overview

We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Assistants to join our team in Downpatrick. In this role, you will provide personalized care and assistance to service users, enabling them to maintain their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as required.
  • Provide companionship and engage in social activities to promote mental well-being.
  • Assist with household tasks, such as light cleaning and laundry.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with supervisors and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Reside in Northern Ireland.
  • Hold a valid driving license and have access to a car.
  • Previous care experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and person-centered care.
