Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to join our team at Barclays Bank. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will play a critical role in shaping the bank's technology architecture and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and evolve the bank's technology architecture, aligning with business and technology objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise and share knowledge to foster continuous improvement.
  • Motivate and lead a diverse team of technologists, business, and operations teams to align business and technology strategy and standards.
  • Assess new technologies to address current and future business needs, using a combination of curiosity and problem-solving skills.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance, resiliency, and stability of applications to identify and resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in providing solid guidance and roadmaps for transitionary architectures to achieve modernization of legacy applications and data landscapes.
  • Experience of working in a matrix environment, demonstrating ability to manage definition of complex solutions across multiple functional areas.
  • Knowledge of products and services across the financial services industry, including trends and future development.
  • Previous exposure to software engineering, delivering reusable components in distributed architecture, as well as job-specific technical skills.
