We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Professional to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to our medical teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to medical teams, including preparing and maintaining patient records, correspondence, and other documents.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and other stakeholders, providing excellent customer care and experience.
- Work collaboratively with the team structure, including line management, to ensure the delivery of high-quality administrative services.
- Receiving, recording, sorting, and distributing any form of communication, taking appropriate action and escalating where necessary.
- Order and receive stocks and stores, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely delivery.
- Transcribe and proofread clinics and other letters of a sensitive and confidential nature, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Receive and make telephone calls to/from GPs, wards, and other NHS and non-NHS professionals/agencies, following through all enquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- GCSE in Maths and English or Functional Skills (level 2)
- NVQ3 level Secretarial or Business Administrative qualification, or equivalent level of demonstrable experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills
