We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Manager to join our Assets Commercial team at Northumbrian Water. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing contracting support to our project managers and procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide contracting support for the review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial and contractual matters across frameworks and contracts.
- Collaborate with our legal teams to ensure contracts are compliant with legal, regulatory, and organisational policies.
- Deploy control measures to monitor the contracting process and mitigate client risk.
- Act as a contract liaison, participating in pre-contract discussions, contract negotiations, and recommending contract changes.
- Maintain detailed records of the company's contracts and communicate with stakeholders on contract status.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong commercial and contracting background in an NEC4 environment, experience of negotiating complex framework contracts, and a detail-oriented approach. You will be able to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and be a strong communicator, able to confidently deliver to all stakeholders.
