Job Description

**Job Title:** FLT/Warehouse Operative

**Job Type:** Temporary to Permanent

**Company:** Jark PLC

**Location:** Malvern

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FLT/Warehouse Operative to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and delivery processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Book-in and allocate deliveries to stock, highlighting any discrepancies, errors, or quality issues to the Purchasing team.
  • File delivery note paperwork and maintain accurate records.
  • Pick and deliver components for production, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Move stock to various production areas as required, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Assist with stock-taking and inventory management.
  • Liaise with the Purchasing team on low stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Perform minor assembly work and make up spares for outbound customer orders, including label-printing.
  • Pack and prepare goods for dispatch, including loading palletized goods and using courier software.
  • Ensure the Goods-in/Goods-out areas and yard are clean and tidy, with components maintained in an orderly and accessible manner.

Requirements:

  • Current counter-balance FLT license.
  • Previous stores/warehouse experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A good level of physical strength and fitness to meet the demands of the role.
  • Methodical and detail-oriented, with the ability to self-motivate and work as part of a small team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 0800-1630

Friday: 0800-1530

Pay Rate:

Up to £12.30 per hour
