As the Finance Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Managing Director and become an integral member of the Senior Management Team, engaging in strategic planning while also managing day-to-day financial operations.

Your workplace will be at the corporate headquarters.



Key Responsibilities:
In collaboration with a Finance Assistant, you will oversee the daily financial activities of the organization.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Participation in Board meetings, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
  • Evaluation and recommendations for enhancements in controls, processes, and procedures.
  • Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts.
  • Timely reporting of financial information on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Management of the company's cash flow, including external financing arrangements for supplier payments.
  • Oversight of statutory accounts and company secretarial functions.
  • Budgeting and forecasting for Profit & Loss, balance sheet, and short-term cash flow.
  • Approval of product purchase orders to optimize stock management.
  • Management of insurance policies, including general business and credit insurance.
  • Leading relationships with external financial institutions.
  • Overseeing the IT relationship with external service providers.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ACMA, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME).
  • Background in the manufacturing sector or closely related fields such as FMCG, warehousing, or logistics, with a solid understanding of inventory and billing materials.
  • Strong skills in cash management.
  • Familiarity with working capital financing options (invoice and stock financing).
  • Commercial insight to support informed decision-making.
  • Ability to comprehend and assist in operational aspects of the business.
  • A pragmatic and approachable demeanor.
  • Proficient IT skills.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary in the range of £55,000 - £60,000.
