Paediatric Nurse Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse Manager to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established provider of complex care packages within the community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing face-to-face support to children and their families, creating personalised care plans, and working closely with a core team of carers to train and support them with their clinical skills and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver tailored care plans specific to individual clients' needs
  • Effectively manage the multidisciplinary team through strong communication and teamwork
  • Provide ongoing monitoring, support, and assessment of clients' physical and physiological needs
  • Deliver nursing interventions, including the management of medicine delivery
  • Build and maintain sophisticated relationships with clients' families
  • Work closely with community teams, CHC nurses, and CCG commissioners to establish and maintain bespoke packages of care
Requirements:
  • RSCN with a minimum of 6 months' experience in the UK and an active NMC PIN
  • Supportive management style that can bring out the best in others
  • Up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years
  • Advanced communication skills verbally and written to liaise effectively with patients, families, and the MDT
  • Suitable for Band 5/Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management of HCAs
  • Full UK Driving Licence desirable but not essential
