Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

Core Responsibilities:
  • Conduct engineering evaluations of all client orders
  • Develop and maintain precise Bill of Materials (BOM) and work order data within the manufacturing system
  • Facilitate communication regarding drawing discrepancies and modifications with production teams
  • Oversee controlled builds and ensure the accuracy of Manufacturing BOMs
  • Assess, manage, and implement enhancements to engineering specifications effectively
  • Engage in hands-on analysis, troubleshooting, and advancement of all production methodologies, processes, and engineering standards
  • Optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of all operations and engineering specifications
  • Advance cellular manufacturing, flow line, and single-piece flow principles in accordance with company standards
  • Support people and culture development through training aligned with new methodologies and practices
  • Promote and facilitate improvements utilizing Total Quality Management techniques
  • Implement practices necessary to achieve high standards through 5S and Visual Factory methodologies
Automation Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the specification, setup, and commissioning of new robotic systems and facilities
  • Generate initial programming and make adjustments on existing products
  • Design concepts, plan, source, and implement automation solutions
  • Oversee and monitor the integrity of automated welding processes
  • Deliver requirements based on controls, systems, and procedures for all welding operations
  • Integrate and implement new processes while driving improvement initiatives on existing workflows
  • Provide comprehensive direction and oversight of all welding processes and related documentation
  • Develop and implement internal standards, documentation, and performance reporting
  • Assist in the development and integration of automated and robotic welding processes
  • Manage a stock control system for welding supplies
  • Utilize knowledge and skills to train others effectively
  • Ensure the automated welding facility complies with relevant safety and environmental standards
  • Possess basic mechanical and electrical repair skills
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics/Engineering or 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of robotic applications
  • Capability in robotic programming and maintenance
  • Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies in the manufacturing sector is preferred
  • Excellent analytical abilities coupled with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, along with proficiency in computer applications
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
