Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the Mitie team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy that drives transformational change, fosters internal colleague engagement, and embeds a high-performance team culture.

This role will work closely with key external stakeholders, developing and executing multi-stream communication plans that deliver key messages to drive transformational change and generate exceptional Net Promoter Scores (NPS).

You will collaborate with NATs and Mitie colleagues to drive employee engagement at NATs, reporting into the Group Head of Internal Communications at Mitie, where you will be part of the wider Group Communications Centre of Communication Excellence.

Requirements

  1. Demonstrable experience in a multi-site communication role, with a proven track record of driving transformational change
  2. A team player with excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently within a matrix organisation
  3. Experience of leading and managing communication campaigns, with a focus on creative and strategic communication
  4. Creative & strategic communicator with a passion for driving business results
  5. Experience in HR/employee relations, with a deep understanding of the importance of employee engagement
  6. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and other creative software packages would be advantageous
  7. Advanced use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a focus on data-driven decision making
