About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Birchwood Court Residential Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centred care to residents, following their individual care plans and promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Participate in leisure and social activities, promoting residents' engagement and enjoyment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and welcoming environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.

Requirements
