About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Real Estate Surveyor to join our team at NFU Mutual. As a key member of our Corporate Real Estate Surveying team, you will be responsible for implementing our property portfolio strategy across the UK, including Northern Ireland.

Your primary focus will be on managing our occupied/leasehold portfolio, which comprises a mix of asset classes, including offices and retail. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to review space requirements and acquire suitable property where necessary.

As a Corporate Real Estate Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work is undertaken within legal and regulatory frameworks. You will also manage and monitor external providers, such as managing agents, letting agents, and legal advisors, to ensure services are delivered within the terms of contract agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement property strategy for UK-wide portfolio of mixed asset classes
  • Manage occupied/leasehold portfolio, including offices and retail
  • Review space requirements and acquire suitable property where necessary
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks
  • Manage and monitor external providers to ensure services are delivered within contract agreements
Requirements
  • RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) qualified
  • Confidently demonstrate expertise and credentials in the field
  • Strong relationships based on trust, considering and acting upon stakeholders' needs
  • Team player, seeking and acting on feedback from others
  • Proficient in Excel and experience of property databases such as Qube
  • Good understanding of financial budget management
  • Clean driving licence and ability to travel to UK-wide sites
