This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a technically astute lawyer with a strong background in new and emerging technologies and digital transformation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage Risk Across the Firm: Oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks associated with digital legal delivery and GenAI across the firm's global network.
  • Develop GenAI Policy: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive GenAI policy that aligns with the firm's risk appetite and ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Identify and Address Risks: Proactively identify potential risks in business functions and digital projects, and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate them.
  • Provide Expertise: Offer guidance and support to teams working on GenAI-related issues, providing clear advice and recommendations on risk management and compliance.

  • Support Senior Leaders: Collaborate with senior leaders in Digital Legal Delivery to make informed, risk-based decisions.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: A technically astute lawyer with experience or a keen interest in new and emerging technologies and digital transformation, particularly GenAI.
  • Legislative Awareness: An awareness of legislative change and its applicability to lawyers in a global professional services firm.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, with a strong background in non-contentious law.
  • Commercial Approach: A pragmatic and commercial approach, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and interpret requirements in non-local jurisdictions.
