We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Finance and Administration Specialist to join our team at JH Mechanical & Electrical Services. As a key member of our finance and administration team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance and HR tasks, driving process improvements across the company, and ensuring the accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the company's financial transactions, including bank, credit card, and supplier account reconciliations, sales invoicing, and credit control.
- Administer HR tasks, including employee timesheets, payroll management, recruitment drives, onboarding procedures, and personnel records.
- Work closely with the Head of Finance to prepare financial and HR reports, analyze business transactions, and identify opportunities for system improvements.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial and HR tasks.
- AAT, ACA, ICAS, or above, or working towards.
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Trustworthy and discreet.
- Experience of working at a small to medium-sized company.
- Used to working to tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Office 365, with advanced Excel skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to work and problem-solving.
