Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Music Engagement Officer. This exciting opportunity is part of North Lincolnshire Council's Music Service, which aims to provide high-quality music education and opportunities for children and young people.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an inclusive music strategy that ensures all children can reach their musical potential.
  • Work closely with the Music Service Manager to lead on access, inclusion, and progression initiatives.
  • Manage a range of music programmes and projects, from concept to delivery and evaluation.
  • Oversee the North Lincolnshire Music Centre, working with colleagues to deliver ensembles and ensure all children have opportunities to play and perform with their peers.
  • Collaborate with the Humber Music Hub as a strategic partner to enhance music education and opportunities in the region.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of safeguarding principles and practices.
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including children, young people, and music educators.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
