Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team and take responsibility for running and growing existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact existing company customers and prospects to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain a customer database with relevant contact information.
- Prospect for new customers and suppliers to expand our network.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
- Participate in company presentations at customer sites and trade shows.
- Manage and support suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components.
- Meet with customers to discuss project requirements and send RFQs for processing.
- Prepare sales quotations and follow up with customers to qualify feedback and negotiate as required.
- Create and update project timing plans as needed.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, and colleagues throughout the project.
- Run projects in accordance with company standard operating procedures.
- Understand the technical and engineering aspects of customer projects and produce technical reports as necessary.
- Participate in design for manufacture (DFM) activities and assist in the maintenance and evolution of company technical documents.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner and document all company activities and projects in writing.
- Represent the company professionally at all times and report to management on the performance of our quality management system.
