Project Manager - Industrial Construction Sector
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the design elements and interfaces of all related aspects of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design Development Management: Manage and review the design development process to ensure value engineering and buildability are considered.
- Health and Safety File Management: Manage the preparation, approval, and distribution of the Health and Safety File/Operating and Maintenance Manuals.
- Design Review and Compliance: Review design development to ensure construction of works follows safety working practices and is in accordance with current legislation, company policy, and procedures.
- SHE Policy and Procedure Implementation: Implement and comply with SHE policy and procedures, all legal requirements, and best practices within the business unit and areas.
- Financial Budget Achievement: Support the achievement of the annual financial budget (operating profit) for the business unit.
- Policies, Procedures, and Standards Compliance: Implement and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
- Design Best Practices and Solutions: Confer and recommend to Project Team and Colleagues, design best practices with practical and economical solutions to any Consultant or third-party supplier design.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally with a focus on industrial construction and residential development projects.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Construction Design Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of construction design processes, standards, and regulations.
