CNC Machinist / Programmer

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum based on experience.
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent position.

Phillips & Cohen Associates (UK) Limited is a reputable organization engaged in the production of a diverse array of machined components across various sectors, including Distilling and Oil & Gas.

As a result of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Programmer to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret engineering schematics accurately.
  • Choose appropriate tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain tooling and measuring instruments to uphold high standards of quality.
  • Primarily focus on one-off projects or small production runs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a machinist with the ability to program and operate Hurco and XYZ CNC Lathes and Milling Machines.
  • Essential capability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Confidence in explaining programming for various CNC machinery.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure consistent quality in all work.
