Position Overview:

We are in search of an enthusiastic individual to take charge of our Front of House operations and elevate the overall experience for our members and guests at Verulam Golf Club. This role is crucial in a bustling private members club that hosts a variety of events and functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the bar, functions, and our new halfway house facility, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Establish and enforce effective procedures for the bar and events, including creating staff schedules that align with business needs.
  • Boost sales through strategic upselling and comprehensive staff training.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels to meet operational demands and avoid shortages.
  • Supervise all bar and event staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and adhere to service protocols.
  • Work closely with selected suppliers to secure favorable pricing for all business requirements.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the clubhouse.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to protect both staff and patrons.

Candidate Profile:

  • At least 3 years of experience in food and beverage management.
  • Experience in a golf club setting is preferred.
  • Possess personal transportation and reside within a reasonable commuting distance.
  • Demonstrate pride in your work and foster a positive team environment.
