Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game design, art direction, and development, to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional UI experiences.
  • Design, create, and implement captivating UI elements, including menus, HUDs, icons, buttons, and other interactive components, that enhance the overall gaming experience.
  • Develop visually appealing UI assets, icons, and animations that align with the game's art style and narrative, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience.
  • Work closely with the UI team, play testers, and game designers to refine and optimize user interactions and flows, ensuring a seamless gaming experience.
  • Develop animation and motion graphics for UI elements to create fluid and premium UX, elevating the overall gaming experience.
  • Collaborate with engineers to implement screens and assets into the game engine, considering performance and technical constraints.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, UI/UX best practices, and advancements in game UI design, ensuring the studio remains at the forefront of innovation.
Requirements
  • A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work in games or related industries, demonstrating your expertise and creativity.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, to efficiently create and implement UI designs.
  • Good understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices, ensuring a user-friendly and engaging gaming experience.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation, bringing UI elements to life and enhancing the overall gaming experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • A passion for video games and an interest in player psychology and behaviors, enabling you to create engaging and immersive experiences.
  • The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, staying focused and motivated in the face of challenges.
