We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Buying and Merchandising Assistant. As a key member of our In-Flight Retail Commercial and Customer Experience Teams, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development, management, and promotion of our product range.
Key Responsibilities- Request and log samples from suppliers, managing samples for internal activities such as bar packing, crew training, and photography.
- Request supplier pricing and obtain individual supplier sales data and forecasts from Retail Analysts.
- Manage Crew Incentive prizes with our Retail Suppliers.
- Conduct monthly benchmarking of product and pricing on the high street, airports, and other airlines to ensure competitiveness for our customers.
- Analyze in-flight customer and sales data, identifying trends to inform product ranging decisions and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct deep-dive reviews and monitor customer feedback related to in-flight product and service delivery changes.
- Manage Crew Hub content, sharing key customer insights with crew colleagues.
- Brief in-flight marketing changes for centralized campaigns and supplier-funded activity.
- Create return on investment reports for in-flight marketing suppliers.
- GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent) at grade A-C (9-4)
- No existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject.
- Must have been resident in the UK for 3 years.
- Highly organized and structured approach to tasks.
- Motivated, used to working to tight deadlines with a 'can do' approach.
- Methodical; previously worked in an environment where attention to detail is key.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.
