Job Responsibilities

As the Payroll Officer, you will:

  • Deliver complex payroll, pensions, and reconciliations across the organization.
  • Work closely with the Payroll Manager to develop and implement payroll process improvements, integrations, and automation.
  • Process HR and payroll data in a timely and accurate manner to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
  • Resolve and provide advice on payroll queries from employees, HMRC, and other third parties.
  • Calculate various changes to pay, including overtime, weekend rates, and bank holiday rates.
  • Raise and resolve risks, issues, and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all payroll-related payments are processed and reported, and pension contributions are uploaded within deadlines.
  • Provide guidance on payroll legislation and resolve pay queries.
