Responsibilities of the Receptionist:
- Welcoming patients and ensuring a positive first impression and experience
- Managing appointment bookings and modifications, handling phone inquiries, and updating patient records
- Coordinating care packages as directed by our clinical team
- Confidently promoting and upselling Bupa Dental Care services and products
- Delivering exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email
- Assisting the Practice Manager and clinical staff in maintaining efficient practice operations
- Processing payments
- Accessing sensitive patient information while upholding confidentiality
Required Skills and Experience:
- A positive and professional demeanor in a dynamic environment
- Previous experience in administration or as a receptionist, ideally in a healthcare context
- Strong communication abilities in person, on the phone, and through email
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with excellent organizational skills
- Experience in promoting company services and products is preferred
- Familiarity with Dentally software is advantageous
