Job Overview:

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a motivated Junior Structural Engineer to join our client's busy team in Birmingham. As a successful UK-based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy specializing in Civil and Structural Engineering, we are looking for a Junior Structural Engineer with 1 year of experience to take part in commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, school, and leisure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the structural analysis and design of buildings, bridges, and other structures.
  2. Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekkla, or TEDDS.
  3. Collaborate with team members to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  4. Prepare and modify design drawings, specifications, and reports under the guidance of senior engineers.
  5. Participate in site visits and inspections to observe construction progress and verify compliance with design specifications.
  6. Attend training sessions and workshops as provided by the company.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 1 year of experience in structural engineering, internships, or relevant coursework.
  3. Experience with software skills such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekkla, or TEDDS.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
