Job Opportunity: Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner - Urology

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner in the Urology department at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective patient management plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Assist in the safe assessment, treatment, referral, and discharge of patients in the designated directorate.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Participate in educational programs and training initiatives to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Professional registration with either NMC or HCPC.
  • First degree grade 2:2 or above.
  • Completion of or working towards MSc Advanced Practice (Level 7 Modules with the ability to APEL).
  • ALS course.
  • Leadership/management course.
  • Non-medical prescribing course.
  • Post graduate certificate/diploma.
Desirable Skills and Qualities:
  • Significant experience of working as a registered healthcare professional in acute care.
  • Evidence of audit and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
