Job Title: Account Executive, Commercial Sales

At Federal Management System, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our Commercial Sales team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and progressing allocated customer accounts to achieve targets set by the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Develop and progress allocated customer accounts to achieve targets set by the company.
  • Team Leadership: Manage an effective, efficient, and strong team through setting objectives, measuring performance, and providing continuous feedback.
  • Client Contract Management: Understand the basic client contract, its framework, commercials, and agreed service levels required, and communicate these to your team.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Optimize supply chain by utilizing internal resources and best practices.
  • Profitability: Responsibility for profitability of allotted accounts to their Pod.
  • Reporting: Provide all monthly reports required for allocated monthly accounts.
  • Compliance: Ensure team adheres to 'Best Practice' policies and utilizes the company's systems in adherence to company policies.
  • Finance: Work with the company's finance department to ensure invoices are kept up to date and paid on time, and maintain best practice for WIP.
  • Travel: Travel to various offices throughout the UK for meetings with clients and/or company as and when required.
Requirements:
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates good interpersonal relationships.
  • Team Management: Previous team management skills.
  • Account Management: Strong experience of account management and demonstrable administration skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong industry knowledge, including market trends, competitor analysis, and latest developments in technology.
  • Negotiation Skills: Negotiation skills up to and including managing director level.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to clearly articulate at times of conflict.
  • Communication: Communicate clearly at all levels both written and orally.
  • Flexibility: Champion a flexible working approach for team management and client engagement in order to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Business Acumen: Understand, analyze, and translate complex business and client-centric information to enable the business to respond to best strategic and commercial advantage.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the team operates within legal regulations and standards and complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Budgetary Responsibility: Experience of budgetary responsibility including reconciliation and reporting.
  • Operational Improvement: Challenges status quo to drive operational improvement.
