Head of Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Operations to join our team at Next-Link. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading our operations team and ensuring the smooth delivery of our events and services across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the operations team, including event day managers, operations coordinators, and other support staff.
- Develop and implement operational plans, including risk assessments, traffic management, and crowd management.
- Work closely with other function heads to anticipate future operational needs and manage resources efficiently.
- Manage company equipment, stock, vehicles, and uniforms across the UK.
- Implement strategies to ensure company growth and services development, managing operations and retaining customers.
- Be an industry leader on innovations and attend industry events, such as FSOA and SGSA.
- Work closely with the staffing and recruitment manager and training department to ensure the correct number and quality of resources are available.
- Lead on all event day HR issues and work with HR lead to resolve and rectify.
- Manage the welfare, safety, and morale of our frontline workforce to ensure Next-Link is the employer of choice within the industry.
- 5 years of experience in an operational/events environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of MS applications with attention to detail to produce documents of a high standard.
- 5 years of experience in line management with a proven track record of effective coaching and mentoring.
- Must live within a daily commutable distance of Coventry Head Office.
- Must hold a UK driving license with extensive UK travel.
- L4 Spectator Safety desirable.
- SIA DS license desirable.
- Lantra 12D M6 must.
