We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Shackleton Recruitment Group Ltd. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in winning future contracts by providing estimates, quotations, and tender evaluations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare and review tender documents, including bills of quantities, and liaise with architects and clients.
- Conduct feasibility studies and establish client requirements.
- Produce accurate and timely reports, plans, and contracts.
- Manage risk, value, and cost control throughout project lifecycles.
- Control budgets and undertake internal valuations and sub-contractor valuations.
- Place work packages and manage disputes.
- Provide detailed update reports and financial reporting.
- Agree final accounts and additional cost claims.
- College or postgraduate degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Construction Finance.
- Experience in construction costs management.
- RICS accreditation (desirable).
- Full-time, permanent employment.
