Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineering Lead to join our team at WhatsApp. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for driving quality across our products and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive quality strategy that aligns with our product objectives.
  • Lead quality assurance efforts, including test planning, test design, and execution.
  • Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions.
  • Define quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize quality-related issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of quality assurance and test engineering experience.
  • Experience in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++, or equivalent coding language.
  • Experience in testing and debugging web or mobile applications.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing black box and white box testing.
  • Experience working with medium to large engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
