Job Description

As a Software Integration Engineer at Expleo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of software systems. Your expertise in Python, C/C++, and embedded software testing will be invaluable in this position.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, develop test scripts, and integrate software systems efficiently.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including clients, project managers, system engineers, and other software test/integration engineers, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, meet project deadlines, and maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Adhere to established standards, integration processes, and security protocols.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with Python and C/C++.
  • Embedded software testing expertise.
  • Ability to develop and write test cases and scenarios.
  • Good understanding of electronics.
  • Scripting experience (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
  • Automation experience, particularly with Python.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Linux expertise.
  • Familiarity with IBM DOORS for configuration management.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience
  • Experience working in the UK Defence industry with a particular focus on the Marine domain.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a Test/Integration Engineer.
  • Eligibility and willingness to obtain SC Clearance (Security Check Clearance) is essential.
