Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd. As a specialist provider in the field of cancer care, we offer a unique opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients in the comfort of their own homes, ensuring exceptional standards of care and education.
  • Manage a caseload of patients, providing clinical assessments and cannulation services as required.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in haematology and oncology.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse with active NMC PIN and a minimum of 1 year's experience in community-based nursing.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to patient locations.
  • Qualification in administering cytotoxic drugs and experience in cannulation and clinical assessments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
