Social Services Professional

Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join their Worcester team on a permanent basis. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of up to £39,186 per annum.
Main Responsibilities:- To provide intensive support to adults with complex or fluctuating needs, using a strengths-based approach to reduce and manage risks.
- To work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a multi-agency approach, enabling adults and their carers to live independently.
- To represent service users and carers at meetings, exchanging information, making decisions, and reviewing progress.
- To engage with adults and carers using a strengths-based approach to identify available resources and meet their needs.
- To build effective relationships with other agencies and the local community, signposting when appropriate.
- To gather and analyze information from various sources to inform decisions.
- To identify potential deprivation of liberty and ensure the least restrictive means of care provision prior to instigating legal proceedings.
- To undertake duty responsibilities in line with team requirements.
- To maintain accurate records in accordance with team requirements.
- To meet continuing professional development requirements and stay up-to-date with legislative changes.
- To maintain personal and professional development, participating in training activities and supporting staff in their development.
- To undertake other duties, training, and/or hours of work as reasonably required.
- A social work qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Registration or eligibility for registration.
- Registration with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England).
