Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for discussing payments and credit terms with customers, proactive cash collection, and evaluating and escalating issues preventing cash collection or highlighting risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Discussing payments and credit terms with customers via phone and email
  • Proactive cash collection including account reconciliation and dispute resolution
  • Evaluating and appropriately escalating issues preventing cash collection or highlighting risk in collaboration with relevant internal teams
  • Balancing debt recovery with risk management and commercial objectives
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer database, ensuring meticulous record-keeping
  • Managing the company's credit, maintaining the debtor's ledger and ensuring outstanding balances are collected promptly
  • Working with an international client base

Requirements:

  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • IT skills including Excel
  • Credit Control/Accounts Receivable (or similar) experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Any additional European languages are advantageous (Dutch of particular interest)
